This second edition of ADULT HEMIPLEGIA: EVALUATION AND TREATMENT is the product of much accumulated experience gained from the treatment of patients and the teaching of therapists. It is therefore both a textbook for students and a guide to teachers.

The subject matter has been extended and arranged in the logical sequence in which it is taught. The chapter on 'Techniques of Treatment' has been completely rewritten and sections on cooperation with nursing staff as well as with occupational therapists have been added. More effective applications of the treament have been evolved so that the whole presentation will greatly aid the process of information and study.
